Evening Class Schedule
BASIC STICK WELDING
|
This class is for the beginner
that has never touched a welding machine, but has wanted
to learn how to weld. This class will teach basic techniques
of welding using the shielded metal arc transfer process,
or “stick welding” for short. People who complete
this class will be able to make satisfactory welds for personal
use. Completers will receive a certificate of completion.
Students who complete this class should consider taking
the Advanced Stick Welding Class

ADVANCED STICK WELDING |
If you have the basic welding knowledge,
you can make a satisfactory weld repair, but you want to
do more and learn more this is a good class to take. The
instructor will take students with welding knowledge and
skills and help them improve their skills as a stick welder.
Different welding electrodes or “rods” will
be used and discussed. Completers should be able to get
entry level jobs in the shielded metal arc welding field.
Students who successfully complete this class will receive
a certificate of completion.

| REPAIR OF INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC |
Learn a skill you can turn into a career
change. Industrial electricians are in demand and this class
will help get you in the door. Learn how to wire, connect,
troubleshoot, install and maintain electric components in
an industrial setting. Students will find this class challenging
but rewarding. Skills learned may be turned into a job in
industrial maintenance.
